2026: Everything you know is about to be wrong... again
James W Thatcher

Here we go again… I wasn’t planning on even bringing Tech in Trade back (at least not right now). Life has been such a mess with changing jobs, and kids getting older, and well… life…

But then the administration had to go and basically change ALL the rules on us… so, I felt it had to be done.

Now, this is kind of a psudo-podcast from me… I used NotebookLM to generate most of the content - but I did review it and make sure that it was right before I posted it here…

Maybe some day I’ll actually have time to bring back the old “inner light” - if you get the joke you’re on the insiders club. But, for now… please at least listen to this, because we’re going to have to change everything we’ve ever done before… again…

Episode 17: Containers are just another block in the chain

In this episode we explore the article published by Forbes Magazine (https://www.forbes.com/sites/tomgroenfeldt/2017/03/05/ibm-and-maersk-apply-blockchain-to-container-shipping/#7a03d28f3f05) and what it could mean to actually use a block chain for international documentation of goods. Where could we go with this and how could we make everyone's responsibilities more clear.
